As a cost effective way to sell her products which were dropped acoustical ceiling tiles, she decided to position herself, her brand and company as a thought leaders in the industry. By talking about the importance of sound in the architectural design and interior design process she was able to make a huge impact on the industry, position herself and her company, product and brand as a thought leader and increase sales by 300%.
Patty started by making a high quality professionally educational video that introduced the topic of how sound impacts the workplace experience. Patty then followed up by organizing an in-person panel discussion and invited industry experts to talk about the subject. The panel discussion was live streamed and a high quality multi camera recording of the event was made for future use. Both the educational video and panel discussion was submitted and approved by the American Institute of Architecture AIA as an accredited Continuing Education Unit CEU, a requirement for all architects to maintain their license.
